Back in '95? when I decided NO MORE . . It was a beautiful summer Sunday morning when I got up and decided I had had enough . .I burned my entire WT library . . bound volumes back to the 1950s, all the hardcover pubs . . . . boxes and coxes of old mags . . etc etc . .
Took me most of the day . . they burned real good, no gasoline needed . .
Never looked back. Very cathartic and healing.

I sold a successful cleaning business with all the hardware and clients to a pioneer in the Onieda, NY congregation back in the 90's on a handshake.
He still owes me 25K, the terms were 5K/year over 5 years. Never saw a dime.
Also, several times I contracted a strip and wax to some local *Brothers* . . I ended up having to re-do parts of the jobs.

i have been in a world of pain this weekend.. some of you know the ongoing battle i have had with my ex wife, an uber dub hypocrite, over seeing my kids more.
3 weeks ago i managed to secure an agreement from her that provided my 13 yr old daughter friday night to sunday afternoons and for my 16 yr old son to have friday night to sat afternoon with the option to extend it to sunday if he so desires.
this is each second weekend.. first due weekend visit she rearranged the days so that she was technically pre agreement start date.

I went through the same back in the 80s. It is a very long story without a happy ending that I won't get into here.
Although I do not post much here, I have followed your story with interest because it so closely parallels mine. I think you did the right thing, and I pray to whatever gods there are that they grant you relief in this difficult issue and grant you the opportunity to be a father to your beautiful children whom you obviously love very much.

i have done this thread a long time ago , but a few newbies have joined recently and may have had some experiances to share , there was 2 in the congregation i was involved with (i was a "study" ) one was from bethel in america and got deported after his prison sentence and the other was reprooved for abuse then carried on abusing in the congregation , years later he abused my daughter and after i found out i reported him to the police , but he had got off "scot free" for 20 years untill i reported him .
i believe the one from bethel was reported to the police simply because elders kids were affected ..

for me there are many obvious issues, but the big one is......... the big daddy of the universe, the father of all this incredible creation, is not about to annihilate everybody who is not a member of this late 1800's american religion, jehovah's witnesses.. that's it for me.. what is your big issue?.
